Tropic Marin® ELIMI-AIPTAS – Fast & Safe Aiptasia Removal 50ml
Take control of your reef and protect your corals from invasive pests. Tropic Marin® ELIMI-AIPTAS is a highly effective, specialized solution designed to rapidly eliminate Aiptasia (glass anemones) and other undesirable cnidarians.
Aiptasia are one of the most common pests in the hobby, often hitchhiking on live rock or coral frags. Left untreated, they spread aggressively, stinging and killing your prized corals. ELIMI-AIPTAS provides a safe, targeted way to destroy these pests without affecting the delicate water chemistry of your reef aquarium.
Why Choose ELIMI-AIPTAS?
-
Instant Action: Works quickly and reliably by causing the anemone to decompose from the inside out.
-
Reef Safe: The alkaline-based formula is safe for your livestock and does not cause shifts in pH or Alkalinity when used as directed.
-
Precision Application: The included syringe and needle allow you to inject the solution directly into the "mouth" of the anemone, ensuring it cannot retract and release planula larvae (seeds).
-
No Mess: Unlike "homemade" remedies, ELIMI-AIPTAS creates a targeted milky mass that stays on the pest to maximize effectiveness.
Application & Dosage Guide
Early intervention is key. Treat the first Aiptasia you see to prevent a massive outbreak.
-
Prepare: Draw the ELIMI-AIPTAS solution into the provided syringe and attach the needle securely.
-
Inject: Move slowly toward the aiptasia. Quickly inject a few tenths of a millilitre (0.2–0.5ml) directly into the center of the creature before it has a chance to fully retract.
-
The "Milky Mass": A white, cloudy substance will surround the pest. Do not remove this mass. It is part of the treatment and ensures the anemone is completely destroyed.
-
Clean Up: After use, flush the needle with fresh RO/DI water to prevent clogging.
⚠️ Safety Warning: Handle the needle with extreme care to avoid injury. Store in a cool place, out of reach of children.

FAQ: Professional Pest Control Tips
Will the Aiptasia grow back?
If you hit the anemone directly and it decomposes, it will not return. However, if the anemone is stressed but not killed, it can release "babies." Always use enough solution to cover the entire oral disk.
Can I treat many Aiptasia at once?
While the solution is safe, treating dozens of anemones in a small tank at once can cause a temporary localized pH spike. For heavy infestations, treat 5–10 anemones per day to allow the system to process the organic waste.
Is it safe for my fish?
Yes. As long as you are not injecting your fish directly, the solution dissipates quickly and is harmless to the rest of your tank's inhabitants.
