How do I dose Seachem NeoPlex™ in the water? Remove all invertebrates (as they are extremely sensitive) and turn off UV, ozone, and chemical filtration (Carbon/Purigen). Use 1 measure (included) for every 8 L (2 US gallons). Repeat this dose every 7 days for a maximum of 3 weeks or until symptoms disappear.
How do I make a medicated food mix? Mix 1 scoop of NeoPlex™ with 1 scoop of Seachem Focus™ and 1 tablespoon of food (frozen or pellet). Add a few drops of water if using dry food. Feed this mix daily for up to 1 week to treat internal intestinal infections.
Is it safe for plants and corals? NeoPlex™ can be stressful to plants and invertebrates if dosed directly into the water. For tanks containing these inhabitants, it is highly recommended to use the medicated food method (using Focus™ as a binder) to ensure the medication is ingested rather than dispersed into the water column.
How do I remove the medication after treatment? NeoPlex™ can be easily removed by using a high-capacity activated carbon, such as MatrixCarbon™. It does not linger in the substrate or filter media once the carbon has been added.
