How do I mix the powder?
Dissolve 6 level scoops (approx. 140g) of Carbo-Calcium Powder into 1 Liter of RO/DI water to create a liquid stock solution. Stir or shake until the powder is completely dissolved.
What is the recommended starting dose?
Start with a daily dose of 5 ml of the mixed solution per 100 L (26 US gal) of aquarium volume. Monitor your alkalinity levels and increase the dose by 2.5 ml daily until you reach your target dKH.
Is there a maximum dose?
Do not exceed a daily dose of 25 ml of solution per 100 L. Exceeding this can lead to oxygen depletion due to the biological breakdown of the organic carrier.
Can I use this with a dosing pump?
