Seachem PhosGuard is highly porous and bead-shaped to promote easy water flow through and around it and rapidly removes phosphate and silicate from marine and freshwater aquaria.

PhosGuard Dosing Tables

It is not recommended to overdose PhosGuard, as this can lower phosphate levels too rapidly and stress-sensitive invertebrates.  For reducing extremely high phosphate levels, replace PhosBond every 4 days.
