A.S.S. Nano Aquarium MFT-250 – The Crystal Clear Cube
Stepping up in volume without sacrificing that sleek desktop footprint, the Aquarium System Solution MFT-250 offers a perfect 25 cm cube design. With approximately 15.6 liters (4.13 Gallons) of volume, this model provides significantly more biological stability than smaller micro-tanks, making it the "Goldilocks" choice for hobbyists who want a thriving reef or planted tank on their desk.
Crafted with Crystal Clear glass and powered by a high-output 12W LED, the MFT-250 is designed to make corals pop and aquatic plants thrive in high-definition.

Why the MFT-250 Stands Out
-
Increased Stability: The jump to 15.6 liters makes managing salinity and temperature much easier than in 10L systems—a critical factor for beginner success.
-
Upgraded Lighting: The 12W LED provides 50% more power than the MFT-200, allowing for a wider range of coral species including more demanding LPS and soft corals.
-
Seamless Filtration: The rear-sump design keeps your heaters and media out of sight, leaving nothing but a clean, wide-open view of your aquascape.
-
High-Volume Flow: The included 800 L/H pump ensures the entire water column stays oxygenated, which is vital for both fish health and preventing algae buildup on the glass.
Here are the most common questions your customers will have regarding these specific all-in-one (AIO) nano systems:
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Is a small nano tank harder to maintain than a large one?
A: In a way, yes. Because the water volume is small (10L–15L), evaporation can cause salinity levels to rise quickly, and waste can build up faster. However, because these are All-in-One (AIO) systems with built-in filtration and included ATO (Auto Top-Off) accessories, they are much easier to manage than standard small tanks. Weekly 20% water changes are highly recommended.
Q: Can I keep a pair of Clownfish in the MFT-200 (10L)?
A: While we offer a livestock bundle for the MFT-200, it is a very tight space for two active fish. For a pair of Clownfish, we strongly recommend the MFT-250 (15.6L) as it provides the extra swimming room and biological stability they need to thrive long-term.
Q: What kind of corals can I grow with the included 8W/12W LED lights?
A: These lights are optimized for "Soft Corals" and "LPS." You will have great success with Zoanthids, Mushroom Corals, Star Polyps, and Leather Corals. Some hardy LPS like Candy Cane corals or Duncan corals will also do well. We do not recommend high-light SPS (like Acropora) unless you upgrade the lighting later.
Q: Do these tanks include a heater?
A: No, the bundles include the tank, pump, and light. Because these tanks are small, they can be sensitive to room temperature. We recommend adding a 10W or 25W Nano-Heater (especially in air-conditioned rooms) to keep the temperature stable at 25°C.
Q: How often should I clean the built-in pump?
A: Since the pump is 800 L/H, it is quite powerful for this size. To keep it running silently, we recommend pulling the pump out of the back chamber once every 2–3 months to rinse the impeller and ensure no sand or debris is stuck inside.
